VALENTINE'S DAY 2009

February 14, 2009 - Valentine's Day
Sun Valley Lunch Sleigh Ride
Calvary Tabernacle Church
The Married Ministry Department hosted a special lunch sleigh ride in Sun Valley, Idaho. We loaded the sleigh at the new Sun Valley Inn, took a peaceful sleigh ride through the snow covered golf course to the new Club House and enjoyed a yummy lunch watching the snow fall. It was very relaxing. After lunch, we headed into Ketchum, stopped at Tully's Coffee Shop (there was just no parking at Starbucks) for a quick sip of joe and headed home.

Okay, honey, smile for the camera! Show them what you've got! (self portrait)

This is more like it. The pink bulge is my daughter Elizabeth.

KATIE SUE TURNS 2

February 11 Katie turned 2 years old. She is such a sweetheart. Two years old brings the usual...proclaimed independence, new communications, "big girl" tries at most everything. She is self potty trianing (she likes to take off her own diaper and go "potty"). Her favorite things are still her "wow-ee" (pacifier) and silkie (blanket). She loves to dance and sing and praise the Lord (she pays attention at church). I giggle when she wanders around the house, singing a tune and then when completed, says, "tank-you, tank-you" to her imaginary audience. She is just now starting to be tender and caring to her new baby sister. She is concerned when she cries, tries to help her stop by offering her a pacifier and blanket. She is a hoot, my Katie Sue! We celebrated with an Elmo Birthday at our home with family.

LET'S RUMBLE!

One day, Jared and Emily decided to "pillow wrestle". Jeff put couch pillows under their shirts and they went at it. It was HILARIOUS!
