CANDI TURNS 35

I turned 35 on Easter Sunday. My mom spent Saturday afternoon with my 3 older children baking cakes for me. Katie, Emily and Jared each baked me a cake (as seen below: Emily the white frosted one, Katie the small chocolate frosted one and Jared the larger chocolate frosted one with the white frosting cross). The had so much fun making the cakes and decorating them. It was so sweet!

They surprised me on Saturday when they brought the cakes home. I had to wait in the living room for my surprise while they placed them on the counter.

After Easter lunch, I got to blow out the candles on all three cakes! I needed some help and had 3 very eager helpers. Here I am with all my children.

After we blew out the candles, the children raced to lick all the frosting off of them. Elizabeth even wanted a part of it (don't worry all you mom's out there - she didn't get any).

Here is my family. What a blessing!

We celebrated with a delicious Easter dinner prepared by my mom on a beautifully set table with my mom's pretty china. Family joined for the celebration and for Easter. It was a sunshiny day, inside and out!
